Case study
Available for CommissionA ceramics studio website offering small-batch handmade stoneware, pottery workshops for up to six people, commissions and a live tracker to follow pieces from the wheel to the kiln.
Project overview
Ashfield Clay is a website template available for commission, centred on an independent ceramics studio making small-batch stoneware and one-of-a-kind vessels for everyday use. With a shop, six pottery wheels and a kiln sharing one space, the studio brings together handmade retail, intimate workshops and commissioned work. The design reflects this close relationship between maker, material and customer.
The website connects the collection, workshop schedule and piece tracker in one coherent experience. Visitors can browse fresh kiln releases, explore taster sessions and longer courses, and follow the progress of their own pottery using the stamp code on its base.
Taking its cue from the studio’s unhurried approach, the design pairs concise storytelling with clear routes into shopping, classes and tracking. Live seat counts make the six-person workshop limit visible, while the piece tracker extends the customer experience beyond the wheel. Together, these features offer a practical digital home that retains the studio’s personal character.
Integrated systems
Ashfield Clay’s website brings together a full online shop, courses, a course booking form and a commission form. A complete pottery kiln pipeline includes tracking for customers and course members.
The integrated systems also include a full CRM, a CMS for managing pages, an email marketing suite and a full social media suite.
